Lucy is back home with us, and literally (!), delivering this beautiful programme for all to enjoy. This four-week course begins with an introduction to linocut where everyone is taught how to use the carving tools, and the basic cutting techniques (sharp instruments do apply).
Work will then progress on your unique butterfly, floral or bug design. You will be shown how to ink your lino block and how to burnish prints by hand using a spoon; your image will be printed by you again and again and hand tinted and threaded to create a garland for a window.
