A wonderful chance to take your creativity outside, to explore your area and our city in a new light.
Join award winning photographer, Mal McCann on one of these artist led photographic walks. Mal has been working as a photographer since 1994 working for various local newspapers and joined the Irish News in 2007.
Take time to learn how to become more confident in using the camera in your pocket and take your mobile photography to the next level. This workshop will open up a whole new perspective to creative possibilities of Mobile Photography. The concept of a photo walk is simple – walk somewhere, observe your surroundings and take photos of whatever you find interesting.
Photo walking exposes you to changing scenery, diverse subjects and variable lighting conditions. Train your eye, understand light and tell stories with your smartphone images using the best apps. Mal uses an iPhone but the photographic principals are the same and the apps he uses are compatible with most Android phones.
Social distancing and appropriate PPE must be adhered to, masks etc. Please ensure you check the latest guidelines.
