This course will provide an introduction to digital photography. You will learn how to control the settings of the camera and how that affects the image. We will cover all the basics including aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure, depth of field, as well as composition and different styles of photography such as documentary, portrait, architecture, event photography etc. We will also look at how to sequence images to be able to tell a story.
Throughout the course you will be encouraged to develop your own portfolio project / photo essay, and at the end of the course you will have the chance for your work to be printed in the form of a small book or portfolio.
