Photo Review: Alfie, Ryan Young & Jenn Butterworth

In association with Moving on Music, we were delighted to host Ryan Young as he returned to play The Duncairn on Saturday 19th October. Ryan is one of the most exciting fiddle players working today, and he was accompanied by another of Scotland's finest - Jenn Butterworth, the leading folk guitarist who also happens to be a member of some of the UK's top folk bands. They shared the evening with good friends of ours, the Appalachian, old time, and traditional Irish band, Alfi. The young Dublin-based trio with an unusual blend of harp, five-string banjo, low whistle, uilleann pipes and vocals.
