Exhibition: The Veil Between
The next time you visit the Duncairn, have a look at this new wonderful visual arts exhibition from Open Arts.
Open Arts is a disabled-led organisation with most Board members and core staff having a disability. A number of freelance artists engaged in the delivery of programmes are also disabled.
This organisation runs highly successful, participative arts activities and events in numerous art forms including dance, drama, music, creative writing and visual arts. Their activities enable disabled people to develop their creativity and artistic practice. It began as a research project in 1988 and became a charitable company in 1992, one of the first dedicated arts and disability organisations in Northern Ireland.
