After being nominated for Live Act of the Year at the Northern Ireland Music Prize in 2023, Polar Bolero has quickly gained recognition for their unique blend of Folk, Jazz, and Irish traditional music. The group has sold out multiple headline shows across the country, including major venues in Derry and Belfast. Known for their "cinematic sounds with vocals that exude a mature depth beyond their years," the band has made significant strides in just one year, performing at festivals like Stendhal and headlining Derry's IMBOLC festival.
