It’s our inaugural 100 Club, so it has to be a belter! That’s why we invited our friend Emma Langford back to The Duncairn. On the night she’ll be joined by Hatchlings, a collaborative project of five songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who are pop-conscious, steeped in jazz, but keeping sight of the deeply Irish narratives they portray. This sound works well with the music of 2018 RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Award winner Emma Langford, whose voice dances a line between sweetly seductive and defiant as she intricately blends folk, jazz and Irish traditional nuances.
