William Thompson will headline the first Duncairn Comedy Club fresh from performing at sold out shows at some of the largest venues in the north, such as the Waterfront Hall and the SSE Arena, supporting some of the biggest names in Northern Irish comedy, including Paddy McDonnell and Shane Todd.
William is the co-host of The MudBlood Podcast with Paddy McDonnell which has amassed huge popularity locally and internationally, subsequently taking the show on a sold out live UK tour including a sold out Ulster Hall.
Andrew Ryan is one of the most in demand acts and MC at the biggest comedy clubs in the world. He has had many regular TV appearances. Including stand-up on BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News, The Blame Game on BBC 1, Live at The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, and is also the host of ‘Secrets of the Comedy Circuit’ which aired on UTV in November 2022.
Andrew, who will be your host for the evening, has recently relocated to Belfast and has since aired his own podcast CORK IN THE NORTH which he co-hosts with his friend and fellow comedian Aaron Butler you can watch here
Belfast’s own Bronagh Diamond will also take to the stage at The Duncairn Comedy Club. She has made a big impression on the local comedy scene since she started. With a penchant for random tangenital rants, this self-professed ‘ambassador for crazy people’ has appeared on some of the biggest podcast shows about including, ‘Cork in the North’, ‘Remember When…?’ and ‘The One Two One Two Podcast’.
