Belfast indie band Buí celebrate the release of their EP ‘Talking to the Walls’ with a launch show at the Duncairn Arts Centre. The EP, which was recorded to tape by acclaimed recording engineer and producer Julie McLarnon, is the band’s first full release since their debut album in late 2017. Support on the night comes from West Cork songsmith These are Atoms.
Buí is a collaborative project centred around the music of singer songwriter Josh Healy. Since the release of their debut album in November 2017, Buí have toured regularly around Ireland and the UK. The band’s 2019 single Something Else to Talk About was shortlisted for the NI Music Prize’s Single of the Year and has racked up over 150,000 streams on Spotify. With the recording of album 2 well underway, Buí are in the meantime gearing up for the release of EP “Talking To The Walls,” which will be released on Analogue Catalogue Records on the 25th of March.
